Perfume Spray Pump Standard Operating Procedures and Precautions

As a crucial application component of fragrance products, the proper operation of the perfume spray pump not only affects the fragrance release effect but also relates to the pump's lifespan and safety. In industry applications and end-user use, mastering the correct operating methods can effectively prevent problems such as uneven atomization, leakage, or structural damage caused by improper use.

Before first use, check that the pump head and bottle are securely connected, ensuring there is no looseness or tilting. If the pump head is screw-on, tighten it moderately clockwise to ensure a tight seal and prevent liquid leakage. After installation, gently press the pump head several times to pre-pressurize and expel air until a uniform mist is sprayed. This step removes residual air from the pump body, ensuring continuous and stable spraying.

During normal operation, maintain a distance of approximately 15 to 20 centimeters between the spray nozzle and the skin or target surface, and press the pump head at a vertical or slightly tilted angle. Apply pressure evenly and gradually, avoiding excessive speed or force to prevent excessive instantaneous liquid pressure from coarsening the atomized particles or accelerating pump wear. The recommended single-press time is approximately 0.5 seconds. Adjust the number of presses according to the desired aroma concentration to avoid overspraying, waste, or aroma imbalance.

During use, ensure good ventilation and avoid frequent operation in high-temperature, direct sunlight, or low-temperature condensation environments to prevent changes in pump material properties or abnormal liquid evaporation. If not used for an extended period, wipe the nozzle clean and store it in a cool, dry place to prevent residual liquid from drying and clogging the nozzle micropores. For detachable pump heads, it is recommended to periodically wipe them with a soft cloth dampened with neutral detergent and reassemble them after complete drying to maintain smooth atomization.

If the spray is uneven or intermittent, first check if the nozzle is blocked by foreign objects or dried liquid film. Gently clear the blockage along the edge of the nozzle with a clean, fine needle; do not forcefully poke to avoid damaging the internal structure. If obvious leakage occurs, stop using the pump and check the seal between the pump body and the bottle opening. Replace the components if necessary. By following the above operating procedures, the quality of fragrance release can be guaranteed while extending the stable service life of the perfume spray pump, providing reliable application assurance for fragrance products.
